We are currently seeking a full-time service writer to assist with our day-to-day service operations.
Not too familiar with boats or boating? Limited mechanical understanding? Don't worry! We can teach you the skills and knowledge needed and help you develop to be one of the best in your field! What we can't teach you is:

Having strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Possess strong people skills and show honesty and integrity.

What will your day look like at Boat Works? In the service department you will be assisting customers via online, by phone and in person with a wide variety of questions and maintenance needs.
You will be responsible for scheduling customers for service, writing quotes for customers, maintaining communication throughout their repairs, and contacting customers when their boat is ready for pickup.
When you are not interacting with customers, you will review the schedule and work to maximize shop efficiency.
This will be completed by keeping repair orders organized and up to date, periodically walking the shop to talk with technicians, and working with the Parts associate to make sure everything that is needed for the repair orders have been ordered.
