Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Call existing customers and information technology administrators to address network LAN/WAN applications.
Work with sales prospects information technology administrators to address network LAN/WAN applications
Support all LAN/WAN hardware provided to our customers.
Determine if customer / prospect facilities and LAN/WAN can support Hosted products and applications.
Troubleshoot software and hardware problems related to Internet applications.
Assist the information technology administrators with configuration, maintenance and monitoring of access servers, routers, Microsoft servers and Internet servers including DNS, radius, web, LDAP, e-mail, network monitoring and print servers.
Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing product publications.
Establish personal networks through social media.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


Knowledge/Abilities:

- Company policies, procedures, products and services.
- Web technologies, technical languages, browsers, search procedures, search engines, platforms and applications.
- Computer hardware.
- Networking devices.
- Telephone Communication systems.
- Windows OS and other Microsoft programs. (e.g., Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel)
- General office practices and procedures.
- Time management and organizational skills.

Ability to:
- Work independently.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and in speaking, with customers, co-workers, and various business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
- Work completely and accurately under time constraints and deadlines.
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and reports.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
