Junior Business Operations Associate

Ticket Galaxy is seeking a Jr. Business Operations Specialist to assist the Business Development team with ticket printing and data entry operations. The Jr. Business Operations Specialist will manage the ticket listing process throughout the life cycle, from the initial data entry through reporting and inventory audit. On a day-to-day basis, this position will be responsible for entering and managing ticket listings both manually and through automated software, correcting listing errors before they go live on the site, auditing ticket listings to find valueless purchases and taking action to correct with the buyer, calculating daily buy totals, reporting any software issues to the Business Operations Manager, and utilizing third party tools to convert inventory to electronic format. It is expected that the person in this position will be comfortable with making independent, data-driven decisions, troubleshooting technology errors with minor supervision, make recommendations on improvements to management and be able to assist with Fulfillment and Purchasing operations when needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to independently manage their workload and time to best meet business needs, the ability to multitask effectively without compromising accuracy, and a desire to lead and innovate.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manually and electronically enter ticket listings with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Utilize ticket entry software to expedite the process of entering ticket listings
  • Audit ticket listings to discover valueless purchases, and communicate findings to the buyer so that the ticket listing can be cancelled
  • Correct errors found on ticket listings promptly to ensure that no listing errors are present on the site
  • Calculate and disseminate daily buy totals via email to pertinent departments, including relevant details on inventory availability and any difficulties in pulling tickets
  • Evaluate functionality of technology used to enter ticket listings; reporting issues and sharing ideas to improve and correct any software problems
  • Utilize third party tools to convert inventory to electronic format
  • Communicate project status to internal departments to maintain appropriate project deadlines and address issues and questions as needed
  • Manage multiple accounts in a timely manner
  • Use data to make independent decisions to keep projects on the agreed deadline
  • Troubleshoot technology errors as they arise with minimal supervisor
  • Assist in Fulfillment and Purchasing operations as needed

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
