Front Desk Sales Manager

What We'll Accomplish Together
As a Front Desk Sales Manager at Massage Envy West Hartford, you'll be working closely with the Clinic Business Mananger, overseeing the day-to-day operation of the front desk staff to ensure first in class experience for our members and guests by following Massage Envy's proven method of sales and service.
Front Desk Sales Managers can experience a compensation package between $35,000 to $45,000 with houlry pay, incentives, commissions/bonuses and company provided benefits.
Essential responsibilities include:
Overseeing and managing daily operations of the front desk sales staff, ensuring that excellent service is consistently delivered to members and guests.
Assisting clinic manager in setting and achieving membership and retail sales goals while regularly monitoring progress of those goals.
Managing front desk staff by training, monitoring, and coaching.
Establishing and monitoring staff work schedules, according to the needs of the business.
Addressing negative behaviors and counseling staff to correct behavior.
Acknowledging top performers and exceptional behavior frequently to raise the bar for the team.
Helping to manage human resource functions, where assigned by the clinic manager, including interviewing, hiring, training, one on ones, performance evaluation, conducting staff meetings, resolving concerns and disputes, as well as all associated recordkeeping.
Maintaining a professional, clean, and safe environment for employees, members and guests, and maintaining a culture of mutual respect, consideration, and accountablilty

What it Takes to Succeed
Qualified candidates will:
Education, Skills and Training:
College degree (preferred).
Previous management, marketing, and sales experience within a service or retail industry, preference given to cadidates with membership sales experience.
The ability to identify and solve problems, set goals and expectations, delegate responsibilities, and effectively interact with and lead staff.
Exhibit proficiency in establishing membership and retail sales goals and interpreting progress and trends in sales reports.
Be aware of and comply with all labor and employment laws applicable to employees, including local and state licensing laws and regulations related to general business operations.
Communications and Personal Interactions
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to communicate effectively with members and guests, prospective clients, vendors, franchise owners, and regional developers.
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire staff and maintain a strong team culture.
Maintain employee and client confidentiality.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
